MARSHALL OGIER
Economic Development and Workforce Systems Manager
Marshall Ogier works at the intersection of economic development, workforce systems, and public policy. At Seeding Success, he helps align schools, postsecondary institutions, employers, and community partners around strategies that expand economic mobility in Memphis.
He has contributed to the economic development work behind More for Memphis and has represented Seeding Success in broader conversations about how research, policy, and practice can better connect to improve outcomes for communities. His work focuses on translating evidence into action, building cross-sector partnerships, and advancing policies that create stronger education-to-career pathways for young people and adults.
Before joining Seeding Success, Marshall served as a coordinator of youth programs at the University of California, an accounting manager for a multinational investment firm, and a teacher in Memphis. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Sociology from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors and getting around Memphis by bike.
