Joel Smith

Joel E. Smith is the Memphis Market President for ServisFirst Bank. Joel was hired in December 2023 to open and grow the Memphis Market. With a focus on commercial and private client banking, ServisFirst Memphis now has 16 employees and works with numerous businesses and their owners and executives.
Joel has 22 years of experience as a banker in Memphis and started his professional career in public accounting working for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He has served on several boards over the years, including those for the Overton Park Shell and Golden Cross Senior Ministries as well as the Youth Villages Advisory Board. Joel graduated from Rhodes College with an MA in Business Administration and from the University of South Carolina with a Masters in Accounting.
