A Message from Courtney W. Robertson, Director of Operations

Beloved Partners:

It is without ease, but with much optimism, that I share my departure from Seeding Success (S2) on October 31st, 2022. After nearly seven years employed with S2 and ten years engaging in the partnership this is certainly bittersweet.  Though this transition represents an exciting and natural progression of my career in nonprofit and anti-racist collective impact, systems change work;  it is also the end of era.

Over the past several years I have had the privilege to serve the partnership as a Network Facilitator, Network for School Improvement Manager, and most recently as Director of Operations. Each role was new to the organization and presented unique and exciting opportunities to shape the work and affect change. I am grateful for every single challenge and triumph faced in these roles. I am grateful for the connections and relationships established along the way, the spirited discourse that has allowed for so much growth, and the overall passion I undoubtedly know exists in each individual engaged in this work.

Thank you for creating space and allowing me to show up in the work as my authentic self. I continue to be in awe of your commitment to shifting the paradigm on how we think about, support, and uplift communities of color. I am proud of what we have been able to accomplish together and the inspiring work each of you continue to do.

You all have been such an integral part of my journey for the past several years and I would love to stay connected. If you would like to remain in touch, my personal email is courtneywilliamsrobertson@gmail.com. Feel free to drop me a note!

In Continued Partnership,

Courtney W. Robertson
